North Central Memorial Scholarship
The Memorial Scholarship is to facilitate the pursuit of continuing education. Eligible applicants must live within the North Central region of AIFD. The criteria for awarding this grant are based on how the applicant will use the funds, and by a proven history of pursuing floral education, either in a traditional classroom or industry event. The applicant should have definable goals or an educational event that these funds will help them achieve or attend. Application due February 20th 2026
National Symposium Grant
This grant is to provide a Symposium Registration and to promote and encourage participation within the AIFD organization. Eligible applicants must live within the North Central region of AIFD or be attending an accredited floral school in the region. This grant is available to florists at large, students and CFD/AIFD members. The criteria for this grant are based on explainable financial need, and a history of industry involvement. Application due by February 20th 2026
North Central Robert H. Friese Student Scholarship
This scholarship's purpose is to encourage and facilitate pursuit of further education to anyone classified as a student seeking a career in the floral industry by providing financial assistance towards classes or Symposium attendance. Eligible applicants must live within the North Central region of AIFD or be attending an accredited floral school in the region. The criteria for awarding this grant are based on how the applicant will use the funds, their definable goals, and by a proven history of pursuing floral education. The value will be determined based on the education being considered. Application due by February 20th 2026
